Quote of the Week #11

Quote of the Week

PocahontasJane Quote of the WeekGood morning everyone! How are we all doing? I had a great week for once! I went to Steven’s and we played the new Batman Arkham Nights game on XBox. Turns out I’m a terrible Batman because I didn’t even save the policeman. I just beat up the bad guys and left again haha. And when it comes to driving, oh my goodness I am awful! The bad guy kept getting away. Pretty sure he could have just got out and walked away because my driving was utter pish. He kept telling me what to do so in the end I just handed him the controller and left the badass stuff to him. We also got a takeaway and I gave myself a food baby and I swear it still hasn’t gone down yet!

Then on Thursday, two of my uni pals came and visited me in my home town! They were in Manchester for a study day and on the drive back to Aberdeen they decided to take a detour and come to mine (a long detour but I’m so glad they did!) and it was great to see them! My mum made us spanish chicken with cous cous which was utterly delicious! It was really good seeing them and luckily it was a nice day so we ate in the garden :)

This is the start of my last week at home before I have to go back to placement and I’m starting to feel the comedown now. I don’t really want to go back at this point. I’m sure I still enjoy it and it’s more of a homesick-type thing but I just can’t be bothered having to go through the last wee bit. Oh well, can’t have it my way all the time!

This week’s quote is another little reminder to be kind :)

As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands; one for helping yourself and the other for helping others.

~ Audrey Hepburn

What did you get up to last week? Any plans for this week?
